My ASU ads are the visual messages that link to a webpage for more information. Ads can be scheduled for on-campus students, online students, and faculty and staff pages.
My ASU announcements are found on the bottom left portion of a student’s My ASU page. Each one displays a title, and clicking on the title enters a separate webpage with the full announcement information.

Submission process
Faculty and staff can request access to the application to create and submit ads for approval. You will need to complete a brief Canvas course and then submit a ServiceNow request form provided at the end of the training. All ads created will need to go through a governance process to be approved and published before they will display on My ASU.
Alternatively, for the on-campus students audience, a request can be submitted over email to Academic Enterprise Communications.
If you are a student representing an organization that would like to get an ad published to other students, please contact AEC as soon as possible to schedule the ad.
All ads are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis and dates fill quickly.
My ASU student announcements
Purpose
My ASU student announcements can be used to communicate general updates and notices to students, and promote services and opportunities. Announcements cannot be segmented by audience. They are visible to all students who log into My ASU and should be relevant to a large population of students.
Guidelines
Announcements should be about two to three short paragraphs with the goal of driving students to ASU webpages to get more information.
One student announcement can be posted per day on My ASU. Posting one announcement per day allows each announcement to be visible for at least four total business days.
Announcements should not promote specific classes, academic programs or research studies. Additionally, announcements can be rejected at the approver's discretion if they are deemed to be inappropriate.
Submission process
Units should contact Academic Enterprise Communications as soon as possible to reserve your announcement date, as reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis and dates can fill up fast.
