Zoom backgrounds
As members of the ASU community, we are each responsible for promoting the excellence of ASU when interacting with the public, stakeholders, collaborators, partners, vendors and one another. Regardless of whether you are in a small meeting or a large event, Zoom backgrounds are one of the most convenient ways to highlight the institution.
How to add your Zoom background
To add Zoom backgrounds, please open your Zoom settings and follow these instructions:
- Download the background of your choice to your computer.
- Go to Settings in your Zoom account.
- In the left-hand column click In Meeting (Advanced).
- Turn on Virtual Background.
- Click Manage Virtual Background(s).
- Choose your image to upload.
- You are good to go!
- The next time you are in a Zoom room, you will find your background by clicking the ^ character to the right of the video symbol under Choose Virtual Background.
Use ASU images as your background
Not seeing a Zoom background that meets your needs? Simply choose any brand image from the ASU Brand Library and create your own. The ASU Brand Library is ASU’s source of high-quality, professional images and graphics.
How to set up the ASU logo filter
If you want ASU’s logo to appear in the corner of your Zoom background, locate the ASU logo filter by clicking the ^ character to the right of the video symbol then choose Video Filter.
