If you are a current ASU student and Filming for commercial use, you must follow the procedures under the "On Campus Filming Application" tab.
Please review the below video tutorials for both safety and location request procedures.

Filming for classwork is restricted to Monday–Thursday after 5 p.m., Friday after 2 p.m. and all day Saturday and Sunday.
NOTE: For classwork Filming, the application must be submitted at least four business days prior to shoot date, as ASU requires this amount of time to process your request. (Non-classwork Filming requires 10 days for processing. Please see "Filming On Campus Application" tab)
Upon submitting your Student Film/Photo/Video Shoot Application, download and print the following documents:
The Student Filming Agreement and Safety Policy document is used to secure authorization for the shoot location/facility. A separate agreement must be completed for each location request. It is each student's responsibility to obtain permission from an authorized ASU decision maker who will sign and approve each Filming location that you would like to use.
An approved ASU Location Permit will be emailed to you as a PDF within two business days after your completed forms are received. The permit includes instructions for contacting ASU Police in advance and on the day of your production before you start to film.
To request to Film on campus, please complete and submit the Classwork Filming Application.
