It’s in the presentation: updated brand-aligned template now available

There’s no single formula for a great talk, but here’s a secret ingredient that all ASU brand-aligned presentations have in common: the Hub’s presentation template. This template (in a 16:9 ratio) makes giving brand-aligned presentations quicker and easier than ever before. The layout includes a title slide, table of contents, feature pages, bulleted lists, multiple-column options and more.

ASU advertising campaign goes live in January

The goal for the Hold Arizona campaign is to improve key perceptions among alumni, prospective students and parents. In Arizona, the campaign is evolving to include messages reinforcing the impact of Fulton Schools of Engineering by featuring innovations, faculty and patents. Constituents in Arizona will see messaging on light rail, out-of-home, digital radio and video, NPR, cinema, print and social media. This year’s Hold Arizona campaign will also be supported by a one-of-a-kind exhibit at the Waste Management Phoenix Open showcasing innovation taking place at ASU.

In California, the campaign message will incorporate more messaging around our Top 10 ranking in patents to help support our role in innovation. The brand is leveraging dynamic, digital out-of-home executions in Los Angeles along with light rail, bus wraps, cinema and digital radio and video.

Sharing: new opportunities to connect and learn from one another

Over the next several months, we will be releasing enhancements to the brand guide, tools, communication channels and events in response to our community’s ideas from the fall’s All-Hands Brainstorming Session. This month’s release focuses on how we will expand opportunities to connect with each other and share universitywide best practices. Based on the community’s feedback, we are launching the following new resources:

Topic-based networking and meetups where communities can share ideas. The first two sessions are now scheduled. Register today for the following:

Community-generated online galleries illustrating best practices of on-brand communications. The first gallery is now available and features sample web designs. This gallery was put together through a web standards working group. View the gallery.

New stay informed section of the the brand guide. This new page offers key contact information for university communicators, directories of social media accounts, listings of community Slack channels and more. View the stay informed section.

Integration with employee orientation. By the end of January, New Employee Orientation will include a presentation and printed materials to help introduce all faculty and staff to university brand standards.
