All-Hands meeting: Conquer 'Gen Z'

The first truly native digital generation is coming to college. For this college-bound generation known as "postmillenials," the "iGeneration" or "Generation Z," technology and connectivity play a huge role in their lives, determining how they learn, what they care about and how they will work in the future. To learn more about effectively communicating with this key ASU constituent group, don’t miss the next All-Hands meeting. Jaime Casap, education evangelist at Google, will share his ideas on education, technology, innovation and Generation Z. ASU 'Excellence' rewarded

ASU marketing projects continue to reflect university excellence and earn CASE recognition.

Most recently, four entries from ASU communicators claimed "Awards of Excellence" for District VII. The annual awards program showcases best practices in alumni relations, fundraising, public relations, advancement services, special events and communications.

  • The ASU Foundation For a New American University's Campaign ASU 2020 launch was recognized with a Gold Award in the Communications and Marketing/Platinum category. The campaign has generated $1.3 billion in support of ASU since its January 2017 launch.
  • The ASU Foundation also received a Silver Award for "Weevil Genius," an integrated, multimedia project recognizing the donation of a world-class insect collection to the university.
  • The ASU Enterprise Marketing Hub's Sun Devil Rewards university loyalty app won a Silver Award in the Innovative Use of Technology category. The app has grown to more than 25,000 users since its launch less than two years ago.
  • The ASU Enterprise Marketing Hub's "33 Buckets" video, a storytelling piece recognizing one student's journey to impactful social entrepreneurship, was a Silver Award winner in the PSAs and Commercial Spots category.
